Mission Statements

Who Are We?

We are a fellowship of born-again believers in Jesus Christ located in the Tampa Bay area. We are a non-denominational church. We are not a seeker-friendly, word-of-faith, or gospel-of-prosperity fellowship. We seek to be friendly, believe that God still performs miracles, and that He can bring forth financial blessings. We believe that the Bible is the true Word of God. We believe that when we read the Bible, we should apply the proper hermeneutics. We affirm that Christians should exegete scripture to the best of their abilities and not eisegete the text. We are committed to growing in knowledge of the Word of God by continual study, prayer, and fasting. We are open to the thought-provoking viewpoints of others, like the Bereans in Acts 17, when engaging with the apostle Paul. We stand firm in our agreement to disagree on secondary issues. If a primary doctrine is being disputed and a change in perspective is not evident, we do not consider such a one, a brother or sister in the faith. We will declare what we view as primary, secondary, harmful, or potentially harmful teachings in our doctrines and beliefs section. Though some of our doctrines may be controversial or contrary to some, we desire to seek peace with all men. The way we strive to seek that peace is through love, patience, humility, mercy, correction, and forgiveness. Our desire is that we can demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit and abstain from the works of the flesh. We are focused on taking up our cross and denying ourselves daily!

Why are we here?

We are here because we believe that God has placed it on our hearts to establish The Right Hands of Fellowship church. We pray that we can edify a local body of believers so they may grow in faith and have a sincere relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that this can be achieved by our leaders living above reproach and preaching the full counsel of God's Word. We see a strong desire of The Lord's people wanting to hear the unadulterated word of God without compromise, and we promise to dedicate ourselves to the unwavering pursuit of the truth!

How are we planning to see the move of God?

As aforementioned, we stand fast in applying ourselves in rightly dividing the Word of Truth. We are confident that through the consistent effort to deliver God's message with clarity, we will witness dynamic change in the lives of genuine believers. Again, as previously stated, we will continue in prayer, fasting, and study. We desire to be viewed as living epistles. Whether it be through open-air preaching, handing out Bible tracts, or one-on-one interactions, we intend to share the message of Jesus Christ with a lost world. Evangelism is vital to our calling. We aim to have leadership prepared to assist in cases that require all types of spiritual guidance. We understand the everyday need for necessities, therefore, we will work diligently to assist in procuring food, clothing, shelter, and other forms of relief. If we are unable to do so, we will reach out to other agencies that can and are willing to help. We are truly trusting in The Lord!

Statement of Faith

  • We believe in one true and living God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who eternally exists as three persons and is the Creator and Sustainer of all things. (Genesis 1:26 - Deuteronomy 6:4 - 2nd Corinthians 13:14)

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative, and trustworthy Word of God, serving as the foundation for our faith, teaching, and daily lives.             (2 Timothy 3:16–17 - 2 Peter 1:20–21 - Hebrews 4:12)

  • We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. Born of a virgin, He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose bodily from the grave. (John 1:1, 14 - 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 - Matthew 1:22–23)

  • We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. Through repentance and faith, we receive forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and new life. (Ephesians 2:8–9 - Acts 2:38 -  2 Corinthians 5:17)

  • We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer, empowering us to follow Christ, understand God’s Word, grow in holiness, and serve others.                   (John 14:16–17 - Acts 1:8 - Galatians 5:22–23)

  • We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, fellowship with one another, make disciples, teach God’s Word, and proclaim the Gospel to the world. (Matthew 28:19 - Acts 2:42 - Corinthians 12:27)

  • We believe every follower of Christ is called to love God and others, live according to God’s Word, serve faithfully, and reflect the character of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 22:37–39 - John 13:34–35 - Galatians 2:20)

  • We believe baptism is an act of obedience and a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. We observe Communion in remembrance of His sacrifice and the new covenant established through Him.                                              (Matthew 28:19 - Romans 6:3–4 - 1 Corinthians 11:23–26)

  • We believe Jesus Christ will return, the dead will be resurrected, and God will bring His promises of final judgment and eternal life to fulfillment.            (Acts 1:11 - John 5:28–29 - Revelation 21:1–4)

  • We believe our mission is to know Christ, follow Christ, fellowship with His people, teach His truth, make disciples, and share the hope of the Gospel with everyone we encounter.                                                                      (Matthew 28:19–20 - Mark 16:15 - Philippians 3:10)
